Chelton celebrates #Pride2021
Diversity and inclusion
Society has come a long way since the beginning of Pride in 1969, but there is still some work to be done to stamp out discrimination against LGBTQ colleagues. Sure, everyone can implement HR policies that focus on diversity and inclusion, and this is a great start. However, it should move beyond the simple 'box-ticking' exercise many companies may still view it as. Not only should people be protected from discrimination within the workplace, but diversity should be encouraged from the off with a focus on recruiting talent from a truly diverse candidate pool. The people behind the products are key to the long-term success and longevity of the business, so why wouldn't you want to encourage people regardless of their background?
Diversity is essential to Chelton's success and we champion and embrace inclusion 365 days a year. We have a culture of team work and collaboration, and we need the best and most innovative minds to help us solve the world's greatest challenges. To have the best people, we make sure to draw from an assorted pool of applicants - after all, we owe our successes to our A-Team, however they identify.
