Meet Chelton's Leadership Team

Having studied at the London Business School, James joined Chelton in 2009 and has proceeded to take on a great variety of roles across several parts of the business managing Manufacturing and Suppliers. Having worked as Manufacturing Manager and Value Stream Director, James' latest role was to head up Chelton’s operational division as Vice President of Operations. Now, as President of Chelton, James continues to lead the company to new heights of success.

After a successful career as Regional and International Sales Director with Cobham, Neil then led Chelton’s Business Development area as Vice President for Sales and Marketing responsible for a team across the world. Neil has a BEng honours in Computer Aided Manufacture Engineering and a Masters in Project Management, both from The University of Salford.

Dyfrig joined as Engineering Director and now leads the Engineering team and developments with over 25 years of experience behind him. Dyf studied at The University of Southampton where he was awarded a Masters Degree in Electronic Engineering.

Alex joined Chelton in November 2022 as the Head of Production & Supplier Management. With over 10 years of operational experience in both the aerospace and medical device sectors, Alex brings a wealth of expertise to the role. He holds a BEng Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering Design from Bucks New University and is a Chartered Manager with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

Hannah joined Chelton as Finance Manager in April 2017 and was later promoted to Senior Finance Manager and, most recently, to Head of Finance, where she led the wider Finance team and managed the Business Plan process. With over 14 years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, and accounting, Hannah also brings valuable audit experience across several industrial sectors. She holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from Bournemouth University and is ACA-qualified.

Amelia joined Chelton in July 2023 to head up the Land Business Unit. Amelia previously worked for Zebra Technologies Corporation for 13 years with her most recent role as Global Product Management Leader. Amelia was also a Board Member of the Global Certification Forum and has gained an MBA in addition to her degree and Masters in Engineering disciplines. .

Peter joined Chelton in 2021 as a Microwave Test Technician. Following a degree from the London South Bank University in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Peter quickly progressed to Antenna Design Engineer and then Senior Antenna Engineer. Since June 2024, Peter has led the Antennas Business Unit and with his wealth of experience and knowledge of avionics, will now be Business Unit Manager for Avionics.

James Allen joined Chelton in 2018 under the graduate scheme. In his tenure, James has held a number of positions with Chelton including Business Analyst, Business Sales Manager and most recently as our Business Analytics Manager. With a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Exeter and an Executive MBA in the Study of Senior Leadership from Cranfield University, James has now taken on the role of Business Unit Manager for Antennas.
