AMULET UGV Unmanned EODS
Four-channel Ground-Penetrating Radar (GPR) sensor system designed for fast and simple deployment onto in-service Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) or Remote-Controlled Vehicles (RCVs). The modular and scalable system provides high-performance stand-off detection of metallic, minimum-metal and non-metallic threats.
- Low size, weight and power four-channel GPR detection system
- High-performance detection of metallic, minimum-metal and non-metallic targets, including mines and Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs)
- Single enclosure containing both GPR antenna and associated electronics
- Proven GPR technology designed with the user in mind
Chelton has applied its extensive GPR experience to the next-generation of stand-off detection systems, which remove the operator out of harm's way by mounting GPR-based detection systems onto Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV) or other tactical robotic platforms. The QuadPack system operates on the same low-burden principles offered by Chelton's hand-held MINEHOUND Explosive Ordnance Detector (EOD) GPR technology, maintaining the philosophy that the capability should be easy to train and operate.
In use, the QuadPack provides a steady stream of detection data which is displayed via a simple and intuitive wireless user interface. A number of QuadPacks can be networked together to form an array covering the width of larger manned or unmanned vehicles.

Suitable for the following searches
-
Mines
Suited for mine detection. Thanks to maximum sensitivity, also reacts to mines with low or no metal content.
-
UXO
Ideal for shallow searching for all types of metal (e. g. unexploded ordnances, submunitions, etc.).
-
IED
Thanks to a ground-penetrating radar, it is ideal for efficiently searching for objects with low or no metal content.
