At Chelton, diversity is essential to our success. We have a culture of team work and collaboration, and we need the best and most innovative minds to help us solve the world's greatest challenges. To have the best people, we draw from a broad pool of applicants. Diversity means we do not discriminate based on race, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, qualified veteran status, sexual orientation and gender identity. Our people have the right to feel included and valued by their team and by the company, regardless of their life experience.
Chelton celebrated International Women in Engineering Day 2020 (IWED20) with an all-female cast of engineers in an inspirational video #womencan. We strongly support recruiting women into engineering roles, and we promote STEM topics in local schools to help spread the message that 'anything is possible'.
IWED, now in its seventh year, is an awareness campaign, which raises the profile of women in engineering across the globe focusing attention on the amazing career opportunities available to females in this exciting industry. INWED 2020 lead with the theme ‘Shape the World’.
At Chelton our vision is a team working together to be a leading global Technology and Services innovator, respected for providing solutions to the most challenging problems.
The Chelton teams that help solve the most challenging problems often contain former military personnel and reservists who continue to serve in the armed forces.
We have a great deal of respect for the service men and women protecting the UK, supporting international peacekeeping efforts, and providing humanitarian aid. These are areas in which our products and services are regularly used. We are therefore proud to show our support of the Armed Forces Covenant as part of our continued commitment to a diverse workforce through unbiased selection and subsequent talent management practices.
Our values include many that are important to our service personnel such as Safety, Performance, Innovation, Integrity & Trust often resulting in long term career matches where our skill needs are met.
We regularly attend CTP events so please come and see us at our stand to discuss careers with Chelton.
